Up for a blind date at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow? Five years ago, Bradley and Mairin actually said yes to that question. It was a breakfast date at Café Vida in Culver City with their matchmakers as chaperones. Brad arrived on time but apologized for arriving after Mairin, explaining that he had parked "in Timbuktu." Mairin, appetite lost to nerves, swapped her favorite breakfast order (chilaquiles) for cold oatmeal and only ate three bites. Brad's napkin blew away from their table and he chased it through the wind ten feet down the sidewalk. A romance sparked. On their next date, Mairin revealed her fake Irish accent and Brad, a proper good lad, reciprocated. A best friendship ignited. On date four, Mairin left her phone and wallet by the entrance to Santa Monica beach (after taking their first photo together) and didn't notice it was missing for four hours as they talked on the sand and watched the sunset. They then spent an hour combing the beach in the dark and giggled the entire time. A forever partnership was born, and within two months, it was love.

In the past five years, they've assembled their families for five Christmases together, graduated from dental school and law school, passed the Boards and Bar, traveled to six countries, read twenty fantasy books, and spent seven weekends camping at Lake Cachuma near Solvang. Their family grew when they decided to adopt the cutest dachshund in the world, Jellybean. Their favorite part hands down was spending time together. :) Bradley proposed to Mairin at Descanso Gardens on December 22nd, 2024, under the oak trees and in front of Mairin's Grandma Millie.
